COLD VAULT RESETS FOR SPEEDWAY
The Challenge
A+ Staffing was awarded a contract to perform Cold Vault Resets in 50 – 60 convenient store locations. The resets involved teams of 4 to 6 temporary staff working five days a week. Five of the markets were new to the merchandising team and many of the locations were in rural areas. The contract was awarded in December and started in January.
OUR STRATEGY & ACTIVATION
- It was all hands-on deck for the entire A+ team. All Line of Businesses came together to recruit and assist as needed.
- The merchandising team used non-traditional recruiting in the rural markets and used word of mouth to gain new staffers.
- The merchandising teams activated and completed Cold Vault Resets at 50 – 60 stores a week with six merchandisers per store. Each cold vault reset team included 4 to 5 staff members and a lead. A+ Staffing empowered and incentivized the team leads for managing their teams and leading them to success.
- A+ Staffing hired over 440 temporary staff and produced 3,008 time sheets in a six-month period.
